In today’s technology world, Data is the most important thing to most businesses. In fact in many cases, the data is the entire business. Not having your most important part of your business secure can lead to potential loss of business, loss of clients, and in all cases restless nights. It is such a comforting feeling knowing that your business has a back up plan in case something happens. It’s never a good idea to wait until something happens to act because.. it’ll obviously be too late by then.

There are many different ways to back up your systems. From Cloud backups to local backups to offsite backups to multiple backups. Many business use a combination of at least two of the different types of backups. Nearly everyone should have a local backup because of the ease of access to files in case something happens, but having an offsite or cloud solution also is a great idea to prevent against flood, theft, fire, or just bad luck of the local backup and computer both crashing. Another point worth mentioning is that today’s viruses are sophisticated enough to attack not one system but also attack your entire network of systems this would include your local backup, so having a copy in the cloud or offsite is often a great idea.
